Hay guys!
Just a quickie here! Yes, I know I have been lazy, but
I need a break sometimes. Besides, I feel like I'm talking
to the wall.
I think I'mma hypocrite. You know how I always urge people
to be themselves. Sometimes I find that pretty hard to do too.
One way or another, we're tied down by society. My straps are
almost torn, and I'm struggling with the last bit. My biggest
battlefield is my mind, and for every step I take, I pray that I
won't meet a deadlock.
And for anyone else feeling the same way I did, I hope you
know that you're not alone. I'll be here to finish the race with you.
Corny sentences are often the most apt, which is why they're so
overused.
I was blind to reality but now I see,
the shadow of the world that enslaved me.
I watched as the misunderstood set me free.
Far too long has their lips stayed shut,
exiled from society they went in shame.
Now tell me why we conformed to a single mould,
only to descend deeper beyond redemption.
