This world we live.

Hay guys.
The degeneration has begun.
The world is tearing itself apart.
People dying left and right. Everytime you take a breath,
a million others take their last.
Sometimes people die for a reason; from the actions they took,
or to prove a point to someone watching.
Watching all these happen made me skeptical about cementing my place on Earth.
Life's like a grotesque lucky draw. Every second, hundreds get chosen to prove points
or to answer for their misdeeds.
When Mother Nature yawns, a country falls. Nothing is safe from anything anymore.
When innocent people die, just to get messages across to us, doesn't that make us beasts.
Because of our actions, prodigies, beggars, they all die. Death doesn't discriminate. Everything's
leveled. If life's so uncertain and we know not when our time's up. Then why, why
the fuck are we still aimlessly roaming around watching the seconds tick away. Why're
we cooped up in the comfort of home, unwilling to relentlessly pursue the reason of our being? Why can't we put to rest the things that wont follow us when the good lord calls.
Why do we subject ourselves to a rigid structure of living where money follows
only the university graduates?
At the end of the day, when the sun sets and it's time to turn to dust, our material possessions will desert us and fade into the darkness. We may have survived the harsh world, we may have become successful, but if that isn't what you're called to do, haven't you already missed
the entire reason of your existence? Righteous as people may be, they're nothing but
victims of the rat race. Everyone wants to get to the top, everyone wants to lead the pack,
but when Mother Nature yawns, everyone falls.
